Revisiting Superbowl

Although most of you are OVER the superbowl this year, we have special memories from the day that I wanted to share. We really had so much getting in the spirit of the game this year. While we usually don't have a fav football team, we chose to root for The Packers this year. My grandpa Bert was a HUGE Greenbay Packers fan so we were honoring him that day (no one in our family are Steelers fans!), plus the team colors are one of my favorites! We spent the whole day at Sandy and Dave's house, ate, watched the game, played, and even did some friendly betting. Logan is really getting into football these days and he was so excited for this game! As we were getting ready for the day, I even found him putting on lotion after his shower and combing his eyebrows ( not typical behavior for an 8 year old). When asked what he was doing, he said "Mom, I getting ready for the biggest game of the year!" Of course I should have known that right? Eddie even made one of his fun cakes for the festivities. Overall, Super fun for a Super Bowl!!!

Best Buddies

These are some of my favorite boys in the whole wide world, Mr. Ethan and his pal Mr. Dylan. These two are like "peas in a pod" when they get together. It is so cute to watch them play and chat with each other. We get to see Dylan every week at bible study and Ethan looks forward to it every time. And as we drive away each week, I hear Ethan say "Bye Dylan, I love you Dylan". Super sweet!

Random Events

Here are some quick pages back from the end of January I made. The first page shows a trip to our favorite ice cream shop, Cold Stone Creamery. The whole family celebrated Ethan's potty training success of staying dry all night long...it's the little things that we make a big deal about right? The next two pages are from a MOMS Club event at a train park in Gilbert, AZ. Ethan LOVES trains (check out his shirt) so he was all about the train ride! Eddie was able to join us in the adventure, which I was very thankful in the end. I really hadn't ventured out that far by myself to a function with Lauryn and Ethan together yet, and I had forgotten how much juggling it takes with babies. Lauryn enjoyed being outside and even enjoyed her first train ride!
