Not sure what the computer was doing today, but here are the actual pages!

Beginning of 2011

I have at least started scrapping January, but we have been so busy that already my pages get put on the backburner. I am in the middle of creating pages for Logan's 8th birthday extravaganza, so those items are coming next! Stay tuned, and as always, thank you for even taking a peek at the blog. It really has been fun to create and a great way to share our happenings with you all!

The last of Christmas!

Every year, my parents come to AZ for the week right after Christmas through the New Year. We have an all-day family affair filled with Sfinga's (a yummy italian pastry breakfast), presents, playtime, more food, park time, movies, and just good ole' family fun! Our kids look forward to this time each year. Thanks Dad and Judy for such a wonderful family tradition!

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!

Christmas was really best seen through Ethan this year. He was so excited about everything; lights, decorating, the tree, of course presents, sitting on Santa's lap (this is big for him who does not like real life characters dressed up), and even singing Christmas songs. He loved to "redecorate" the tree every day by moving the ornaments around, his favorite tunes were 'Jingle Bells' and 'Rudolph', and everyday he wanted to see more lights..."So cool mommy, so cool". Logan was very much into tradition this year. He remembers EVERYTHING, so of course he wanted to do all the things we usually do every year for the holiday...very difficult with a newborn baby, but we did manage to get most of them done. He was sort of sad I did not decorate the entire house, maybe one day he will understand when he had a new baby of his own and young family. Lauryn's favorite items this year...Sleep, eat, poop, mommy, and the Christmas tree lights. She would just stare at them, we even found her looking in their direction when they were gone, next year sweet girl! We are so thankful for a wonderful time with our children and family!

More Christmas...

I know, I know...we are in the month of February, "Hearts day" and all, but I am still scrappin Christmas and I have come to the realization that I may never be caught up to the current months. Oh well, maybe in a few decades I will be more organized. Hope you enjoy a little piece of our holiday AND our "Christmas Cookie" as Eddie nicknamed Lauryn when she was dressed for Christmas Eve!

Christmas Cookies and More Birthday Fun!

We had a jamm-packed day to celebrate my mother-in-law Sandy's birthday. We started with decorating Christmas cookies, then a delicious dinner made by Shelly, a purple rainbow sprinkle cake (purple is her fav color), and movie night! Since Miss Lauryn was only 2 1/2 weeks old, we changed into our jammies and stayed "IN" for the night. We watched the movie 'Elf' and ate popcorn and snacks, we had super fun!
