Our Sweet Lauryn turned The Big One last November 30, 2011. We had lots of fun celebrating our special girl. We have taken each of the kids to have their first Happy Meal from McDonalds when they turned one, and it has been a fun memory to have to see each of them try french fries for the first time. We of course had a big family birthday party, with a lollipop theme inspired by her birthday outfit. I found a very cute ensemble from etsy (I am SURE many of you know of it!), and the onsie was embroidered with a lollipop and her name. So I just went with it. Eddie made his specialty cakes, they were very adorable and delicious. Funny thing about the cake, I mean "cakes" is that there were not just one cake but three cakes. Eddie found this amusing thinking that because now that we have a little girl in our house, does she always get three cakes? Our boys only get one cake on their birthday....hmmmmm, we will just have to see how that one plays out in the years to come! Really it just worked out that way, totally not planned to have three cakes (the cake designer just did not create the cakes how I envisioned, so we had extra!). Anyway, we all had lots of fun. We really have enjoyed having a girl in our family, I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all the pink. But she is definately different than her brothers
. Since the day she was born, she has been a little Diva, and I think we are in for an interesting future! Happy Birthday to you Miss Lauryn Lulu, we all love you very much and enjoy each and every moment with you!!! Happy One Year!
