Fabulous Fourth Fun and More...

This Fourth of July we had the very special opportunity to spend it with The Finders.  Usually both of our families spend this holiday with our own extended families and friends, but this year it seemed that both sides were out of town.  Sooooo, we literally "hung" out all night.  All the kids were having so much fun, they voted to stay in the pool versus getting dressed to go watch fireworks.  We could even see the fireworks show from their backyard and the kiddos swam into the night.  If only we had their energy sometimes!
Later in the month, we all went to a Diamondbacks baseball game together.  All the kids, minus Lauryn, participated in the summer reading program through the library and they each earned a free ticket to the game.  It worked out they we could go on the same night!  It was a good time full of laughs, face painting, snacks, snacks, and more snacks, and even a win for the Diamondbacks!  We look forward to our next baseball adventure...Lauryn may even enjoy it a little better too!

More Swim and Trip to Califonia

We celebrated Father's Day at the Kruegers with swimming and BBQ.  It's always such a treat for the kids to swim, especially ato swim all day long (we love it too because they are usually exhausted and fall asleep very quickly).  We also spent several days in sunny and glorious California at my parent's house.  We went to the beach, Knott's Berry Farm, more swimming and BBQ with our California family.  We even managed to find time to fit in a surf lesson for Mr. Logan, who has been begging to learn how to surf.  He did awesome and rode in the waves fully about 4 times.  He LOVED it and I am sure that if we lived in California, we would have a full-fledged surfer in our family!  We all had a great time and just love being able to get away from our summer heat.  Thanks again Dad and Judy, you are THE BEST!!!
The other couple of pages are more summer activities we did...coming soon, the second half of summer!

Our Summer Adventures, Part 1

Part 1 of our Summer 2012 adventures are activities from June.  We started off with frozen yogurt, pooltime, VBS at our church, making forts, and having playdates.  Anything to keep us busy and not concentrate on the heat of summer!  We also took a trip to California which I am scrapping right now, so you will have to wait for those "masterpieces".  Hopefully these are all posting OK, blogger seems to change things quite a bit and I have figure out how to post and upload differently sometimes.  Who knows, maybe its just THIS blogger!  Enjoy!

Summer Fun

As the summer comes to an end with Labor Day Weekend approaching, I thought I would create a page that best summarizes our summer.  Swimsuits were the choice of clothing to be in for all our summer fun, whether we were at our local pool, friends' pools, slip-n-sliding or having fun at the beach.  This picture shows the kiddos very happy getting ready for our water adventure.  I have many pages made already from our summer that I will post soon, hope you all have a relaxing and fun weekend in store.  Ours includes water and swimming, ...of course!!!

Christmas Season, 2011

I know....the last thing anyone wants to see or think about is Christmas as it is already fast approaching again.  But I wanted to post some pages from our three day extravaganza that usually happens in our family to celebrate Christmas.  We always spend Christmas Eve at The Kruegers, then Christmas Day at home, and then Christmas with my family the next day with a night of work thrown in there somewhere.  It's a whirlwind full of fun but I am exhausted by the end.  Here are just some highlights, I took so many pics on Christmas Eve that it would have taken me several pages to capture so I opted to not make those now.  I am planning to print my blog in a book and wanted to at least finish the year with Christmas.  So the next time I blog, it will be highlights from summer and that should get me caught up (it's a theory anyway, hahaha).  Until then, maybe this will get you in the mood for the coming holidays!
