Zoo Time!

The PICU Crew, (pediatric intensive care unit for some that may not know ), got together for an outing at our wonderful Phoenix Zoo. We really do have a nice zoo and the weather is perfect right now, just before the heat of summer comes. Most of us girls from the night shift and a few of those from the day shift loaded up our kids and had a very fun morning adventure. It was nice to hang out away from our work and let our kids play, laugh, and explore all the animals together. This is a rare opportunity for all us to get together, and we, including the kids had a blast! So here is a glimpse of the wonderful women that I get to work with, their cute kiddos and what we "night owls" can do when we are not working!

Easter Fun!

Our Easter was a full day of fun and celebration with family. We started our day with discovering what the Easter bunny brought in the boys baskets (even Eddie was left some of his favorite Reece's peanut butter eggs by the bunny). We went to church and then over to my mom and David's new home for lunch, egg coloring and even an egg hunt. All the kids had a great time.

April Birthdays

It is a tradition with my best friends to celebrate our birthdays in fun and festive ways. Mine and Karen's birthday fall in April and Jann and Kim's birthdays are in July. Each group plans a celebration that sometimes has a surprise theme or event...this year was Bingo! Jann and Kim picked us girls up, we got take-out for dinner and proceeded to bring it to the bingo hall where we had hours of fun, eating, chatting, birthday cake...oh and playing bingo too! We had so much fun, and what a treat it was to spend time with my "favorite girls" in the whole world! THANK YOU Kim, Jann and Karen, you are the best!!!

Go Coyotes!

We went to our first hockey game with the boys in March. We were also with Russ, Shelly, Sally and Jason. We all had so much fun, especially the boys. Logan was "glued" to the rink especially during the fights on the ice (I just turned my head), and Ethan was dancing every time the music came on and yelling and pointing to where the mascot was in the audience. They were so cute and did very well for the whole game. Of course we had snacks and juice boxes to help us! This was our first major sporting event we have taken the kids to, so there just may be more in the future!

Here is just a quick page of my most favorite little people in the world! They are just too cute sometimes! We were "trying" to get them into bed and they both were wanting a snack, so here they are sitting on the kitchen island, nonetheless, eating their gogurts and having lots of sillies
