Well I am happy to report/blog that Eddie and I finally ran a race together! In April we ran the 7th Annual Pat Tillman Run. It was a 4.2 mile loop around the Tempe area and finishing on the 42 yard line of Sun Devil Stadium at ASU. Eddie did awesome, he ran the entire race without stopping to walk. I am so proud of him for running and sticking with the training (it is a little difficult having two people trying to run/train for an event with two small children), but we did it. Now remember, Eddie DOES NOT like to run and he has some old knee injuries that he was dealing with, but it was the perfect run and a perfect distance for him. Of course he says that was his first AND last run...we shall see if he catches the running bug when it cools off again this fall!
