Our 1st Camping Trip!

We finally made our first camping trip this summer! We stayed two nights up on Mt. Lemmon above Tucson with our dear friends, The Ferins. We managed to survive with 2 adults, five children, and 1 one...and lived to tell about it! We had super fun and the kids just loved it, but it was not exactly relaxing. Eddie and I have not been camping since college days, have never camped with small children or be responsible in the wilderness for anyone else other than ourselves. Gone are the days of lounging in the hammock and reading a book all day...aaahhh, someday! The kids had so much fun that they are asking to go again soon, thank you Ferin Family for a fun and memorable first time camping!

Keeping you in the Loop!

I know many of you that check our blog from time to time already know about our newest addition to the Jaffie Family...but I thought I would still share the news and show a pic of our little cutie. I have been a little lax on my blogging/scrapping and this is the reason why! We had an unexpected "souvenir" from our anniversary getaway...and surprise, we are expecting a little girl! We are so very excited and anxious to be adding not only another baby to our family, but a bit more pink to our house. We will see how she fares in our "boy world", hope she likes cars and trucks!

A Day with the Fish!

We have a new aquarium that opened in May, so for our first adventure this summer we decided to check it out. The aquarium is very similiar to the Sea Life Aquarium in Carlsbad, CA (they are built by the same company) and we have visited that location on one of our trips. But it was fun to see the one we have at home too, especially the whole idea of having an aquarium in the desert! The boys had a blast seeing all the creatures, fish, starfish and even an octopus. I have never seen an octopus that big nor that close up before...scary looking! It was a great family fun outing spent "under the sea"!

Backyard fun and football...

Here are some quick pages of fun times the boys have had in the backyard with water and Logan's spring football class. Logan
had a great time learning the basics of football, catching, techniques and even plays. It was a great intro class before we sign him up for flag football possibly this coming fall.

Girls Night Out ...Ice Style!

I know, I know...I am have been VERY lazy on posting any new scrappbook pages. There are few a good reasons why, which I will address later in some pages that are in the creative process. For now, here is a page from a night out with some of the PICU gals at Smucker's Stars On Ice show. We had a fun time, delicious dinner and saw some Olympic Skaters perform their magic on the ice. Thank you Michele for a great ladies night out treat!

Our Big 3 Year Old!

Our sweet Ethan turned 3 years old in May. We cannot believe he is already 3. We have had so much fun with this little guy, he is quite the character! And overall full of love, gentleness, and a smile to melt anyone's heart. He loves cars, trains, monster trucks...anything that makes noise and drives basically. He likes music and loves to "rock out", his facial expressions are the best. He is still the happiest when playing outside or just hanging out with mom. He likes to play pirates with Logan and "plays" the Wii with him too. Ethan has brought much joy to our family and we look forward to what the "Threes" have in store for us!

Holes...

"Holes" are just another part of a boy's day, whether it's holes in the yard, mud, sand, OR their pants! I just found it very funny this year that every pair of pants that Logan owns has a hole in the knee. This is the first year that has happened to all of his pants, he must be doing something right because it looks like he's had lots of fun creating these mysterious holes! Just another day in the life of a boy!
