Our Fall Sports Season, 2011

 This past Fall, Logan played flag football again and Ethan played soccer for the 1st time.  They both had fun, but it was alot of juggling between the Satuday games.  Thankfully we had extra help from both of our families to cover being two places at one time.  I am sure this is just our first glimpse of what the future will hold as each of the kiddos become more involved in sports or activities! Crazy times but fun times! Logan improved on passing and catching the ball this season while Ethan learned about soccer and being on a team.  His favorite time of the whole season was at practice where he played games and drills.  I am so proud of both of them, they were superstars through the whole season!

And More of Summer Fun, 2011!!!

These pages finish up our summer fun. Not only did we fill up our days with lots of pooltime, we got a chance to whisk away for a "staycation" at a local resort with some friends of ours. For not having a pool of our own in the backyard, we sure do keep cool with all the water activities that are available. Thanks friends and family for all many days of smiles, fun and laughter!!!

Start of 2011 School Year

Here are some pages of my boys being silly with their friend Bryce, and then the start of school for 2011. Logan started 3rd grade and Ethan began preschool. Logan was happy to go back to school, but Ethan was SUPER excited to be heading off the preschool...going to school just like his big brother! It is amazing how time flies when I see how big each of them have become. Of course when you are in the daily moments with them, the day seems so slow! Anyway, I have lots of pages to post but I am having technical issues right now and I am not sure how I am going to fix the problem. Too long and too complicated to go into detail, but hopefully I will get it all worked out soon!

Here's to a New Year!

Well I have finally found some spare time to update, create and post some new stuff. It is of course current, and I am missing TONS of activities from the holidays, but I will get to those one day. I was beginning to feel real down about not staying up to date on my pages, so I haven't posted anything for awhile. I just have to tell myself not to get all caught up in that crazy thought process of "getting everything done and perfectly". I am just going to post what I can, when I can and NOT say anything more about it (I dont want to sound like I am whining)!
Anyway, we kicked off the New Year at The Moreno's home, kiddos and all! My parents were there too and we all had super fun. We made is back to our house in time to see the ball drop in New York and then it was off to bed. Lauryn even made it till Midnight!!! What a rockstar!

Second Half of Summer Adventure to California

Here they finally are....the rest of the pages from our California adventure this summer. My parents took us to an Angels baseball game, which happened to be a first for all us (I may have been to one when I was a child spending summers out here, but I am sure the stadium was not like this). Uncle Joe and Aunt Stacey and Baby Riley joined us, and the babies wore pink Angel attire, so cute!!! As you can see from the pics, the fun lasted for hours, and everyone had a blast! The stadium was gorgeous and a perfect California summer evening. We also went to the beach, but it was a little chilly, especially for Lauryn. Of course we filled the end of our trip with lots more family time, a BBQ at Joe and Stacey's, and just enjoying being on vacation. Thank you again to my parents for hosting the Jaffie Crew for their first vacation as a family of 5!!!

This was left out when I posted the pages. Logan spent lots of time perfecting his daredevil stunts off the side of the fountain. He LOVES to swim (I think secretly he must have been a fish in a past life, J.K.).
