Miss Lauryn

Here she is, Miss Lauryn Lou at 4 months!!! Our little sweetie is growing so fast, and she really is ALL GIRL already! It is truly amazing the difference already I can see in personality, temperment, and interest. She is all smiles and then all tears...already some drama has entered our home. But she definitely adds alot of fun in our lives. We love having her so much and the boys can't get enough of her! She is truly a blessing to our family!

The Other Runner

Here is the"Other Runner" in our family, Mr. Logan! He just finished his 3rd Running Club season for his elementary school. He really does love it, plus sometimes he gets to go running with mommy. He was very close to placing this year at one of the three running races they have each season (he got 6th place and they only give out ribbons up to 5th place). But we are so proud of him and his commitment to the sport and finishing strong for the season. He logged 73.7 miles during practice and the races...that is alot miles on an 8 year!!! I am sure he will be soon passing me up in races as he gets older! Great job Logan!!!

Lauryn @ 3 Months!

Here is my smiley girl! She is quite social and LOVES to "talk" to people and be talked to! I call her Miss Social B, for social butterfly. It must be a girl thing, OR she is already just like her mommy!

Finally...

While Eddie and Logan were camping with Cub Scouts this weekend, I FINALLY got to do a little scrappbooking. "The Littles" and I (that is Ethan and Lauryn, as I call them), were homebodies all weekend. So here are a few pages, more to follow over the next few days. Since I am back to work now, life sure is whirlwind that just never seems to stop. I think I am going to be constantly behind on this scrappbooking indulgence of mine. Hope you enjoy the latest!
And YES that is a page of a run that I did back in February. The Lost Dutchman 10K, I ran/walked the race. It was so much fun to be back out there at an event with my running girls, but it is truly amazing how quickly the cardiovascular goes if you haven't run in 8 months! I feel like I am starting from scratch! I will get back into it...one of these days! I think that is going to be my new motto, "One of these days" for everything now!!!

Revisiting Superbowl

Although most of you are OVER the superbowl this year, we have special memories from the day that I wanted to share. We really had so much getting in the spirit of the game this year. While we usually don't have a fav football team, we chose to root for The Packers this year. My grandpa Bert was a HUGE Greenbay Packers fan so we were honoring him that day (no one in our family are Steelers fans!), plus the team colors are one of my favorites! We spent the whole day at Sandy and Dave's house, ate, watched the game, played, and even did some friendly betting. Logan is really getting into football these days and he was so excited for this game! As we were getting ready for the day, I even found him putting on lotion after his shower and combing his eyebrows ( not typical behavior for an 8 year old). When asked what he was doing, he said "Mom, I getting ready for the biggest game of the year!" Of course I should have known that right? Eddie even made one of his fun cakes for the festivities. Overall, Super fun for a Super Bowl!!!

Best Buddies

These are some of my favorite boys in the whole wide world, Mr. Ethan and his pal Mr. Dylan. These two are like "peas in a pod" when they get together. It is so cute to watch them play and chat with each other. We get to see Dylan every week at bible study and Ethan looks forward to it every time. And as we drive away each week, I hear Ethan say "Bye Dylan, I love you Dylan". Super sweet!
